Our E-LEE solder is refined by reducing scrap solders to charged particles that are removed from a contaminated anode and transferred by plating to a pure cathode through a solution that will transfer only charged tin and lead particles, producing an extremely pure product.  

The industrial standard J-STD-006A recognized the progress that has been made in solder refining, and the need to recycle solder, and has made the following recommendation: 

J-STD-006A Item 3.1 Materials:

“Materials shall be used which permit the solder product to conform to the specified requirements. The use of recovered or recycled materials is encouraged. Recovered or recycled materials must conform to or exceed comparable standards for virgin raw materials.”

Note:  Not only does Electro-LEE solder exceed these standards but analysis shows it to be superior to all other solders including virgin solder. In addition, recycled materials are used exclusively, benefiting the environment.
